How It Works

BOOK YOUR SHOOT
Choose the date and time that works best for you. We will confirm all the session details to you and help you with ideas on what to wear and bring to make the session unique to you.

on the day
During your session time with us, we will capture a wide variety of images for you to choose from, with changes of background colour and outfits. We will guide you from start to finish so you can relax and enjoy the experience!

after the shoot
We will arrange your viewing and ordering session wether that be in person or over Zoom for your convenience. No need to pre-pay for collections, giving you the reassurance you only buy what you love.
Questions answered
What should we wear for our session?
This is the first question most of my clients ask. It’s understandable because you want to get the ‘look’ of your portraits right and you’ll be admiring these photographs for generations to come. Firstly don’t worry, we have a style guide we will share with you on booking and your session will include a pre-session consultation to advise you on the style of your session, colours, clothing choices and accessories depending on whether you are having an on location or studio session, so you can feel confident making your choices.
But I have no experience in front of the camera and don't consider myself photogenic!
Over the last 20+ years as a photographer, Sarah has worked with every single body type and will support you during the session, with confidence boosting guidance, beautiful posing and wonderful lighting your fears will disappear quickly! Clients always say how easy and comfortable they felt through the shoot, and that they even felt like Sarah is their personal cheerleader…. they felt so good they’d definately do it again!
Can the grandparents or extended family come too?
They are all more than welcome! Our studio in Liverpool and our outdoor sessions are perfect for extended family group shots. This is a time for a big family get together and I know a lot of my clients love to combine the session with going out in Liverpool for a meal afterwards to celebrate this time together!
Can we bring a pet?
As dog owners we know how much of a big part they are of our family and we love to include your pets in your sessions too. Pets can join in on a Family Outdoor session.
Do I have to pick the Collection I want in advance?
No, we take your session retainer to book and complete the shoot and then when you see your final selection of portraits at your reveal and ordering session is when you make your final investment decision.
